Today, the 18th of April 2024 marks the go-live of the online business. With it we're excited that this is our first real go-to-market.
A milestone for a really small business, based in Hamburg, Germany.
I all started from a great hobby: 3D Printing.
It was in 2021 when i bought my first, small (and not very capable) 3D printer. Quickly I grasped what great door to almost infinite possibilities this opened.
Well at least after making the usual move from printing small and nice, but otherwise useless figurines to actually usable items, tools, custom solutions to real problems, design object, etc.
The next, bigger and more capable 3D printers followed.
Learning how to design custom objects in CAD and other 3D modelling software was the natural big next step.
With it more and more requests from family and friends to solve problems or design custom pieces kept coming in.
It then felt almost like a natural step to make it a side-hustle and start a business - Not the easiest task in Germany, believe me ;-)
Once I stumbled upon Odoo it made my decision for an online platform easy. Not only is it the most fair offering that I could find but it also ticket the check-box of utilizing Open Source Software. A thing that I am a big believer in.
So yeah. This is it. Let's see how it goes.
